Age Groups — Summer 2026

We’re planning teams across five age bands. All teams pending sufficient interest — we run a team only if enough players vote yes.

How Age Brackets Work at Legends Eastern Invitational

The Legends Eastern Invitational uses March 1 as its age cutoff. Your child’s bracket is determined by their birthday relative to March 1, 2026 — not the US Lacrosse standard of August 31.

Your child’s bracket = the class year whose cutoff date falls right after their birthday.

Because this cutoff differs from the typical school-year calendar, each Legends bracket spans parts of two US Lacrosse graduation classes. The 2035 bracket is our youngest team — it is open to all players born after March 1, 2016, including those who will be 8 or 9 at tournament time.

Cost per Player

Final cost depends on format and tournament chosen. R3VA covers all team-level expenses (tournament entry, refs, field rental, insurance allocation, coaching admin). Per-player rates include a small operational margin (~15%) for coaching and program sustainability.

FormatTournamentRoster SizePer Player
7v7NC (July)12–15$215
8v8Richmond (June)14–17$241
10v10NC (July)16–18$200
10v10Richmond (June)16–24$241

Richmond (June) rates are the live registration price on PlayPass. NC (July) rates are estimates from the R3VA 2026 Internal Cost Breakdown — larger rosters spread fixed costs (tournament entry, field rental) across more players.

What’s Included

Not included: Personal gear (stick, helmet, gloves, pads, cleats, mouthguard). Gear specifics are shared with confirmed players after teams form.
